Archie Robinson

Mr. Archie Robinson, age 87, of Covington formerly of Crossville, Tennessee passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018.  He was born April 25, 1930 in Nashville, Georgia to Archie and Carrie Lee Fletcher Robinson who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Robinson was a Lock man working for the Corp of Engineers for many years.  After retirement he and his wife became fulltime campers.  Mr. Robinson also served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was a loving husband, father, great grandfather, brother and friend. 

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife Betty Robinson, his children Yvonne and Rodney Capshaw of Senoia, Lisa and George Gardner of Covington, Michael and Linda Robinson of Covington and Patricia Williamson of Sparta, Tennessee and his sister Frances Barwick of Springhill, Florida, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and a host of other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Robinson will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Rodney Capshaw officiating.  Interment will follow at New Covington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Thursday prior to the service.  J.C.
