Arthur Davis

Mr. Arthur Davis, age 84 of Covington passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018.  He was born November 30, 1933 to Correy and Addie Gaston Davis who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Davis served his country in the United States Army for 3 years and worked for the Coca Cola Company retiring after 28 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working with his great grandson.  Mr. Davis was a kind hard working man; he never met and stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need.  He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley J. Davis and is survived by his son Clint (Jane) Davis of Conyers, Pam (Gene) Morgan of Monroe his 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a host of other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Davis will be held at 11 o’clock, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Don Malcom officiating.  Interment will follow at Davis Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.
