Arthur "Sam" Samuel Howell

Mr. Arthur Samuel “Sam” Howell, age 57, of Newborn formerly of Lithonia passed away December 31, 2017.  He was born in Atlanta on June 28, 1960 to Ernest and Betty Sue Howell.  Sam was a friendly man, who never meet a stranger and was loved by everyone.  He was a Mason and was a Past Master at Mansfield Masonic Lodge #489.  Mr. Howell was a framer by trade and enjoyed shooting guns.  He loved his family very much and was preceded in death by his mother Betty Sue Howell and his brother Steven Craig Howell.  Mr. Howell is survived by his father Ernest Howell, his brothers Vann Howell of Snellville, Marc and Lisa Howell of Cumming, David and Nikki Howell of Milledgeville as well as 20 nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Nelson Goddard officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mansfield Masonic Lodge #489 PO Box 160, Newborn, GA 30056.  J.C.
