Becky Shelor

Becky Shelor, age 59, of Monroe formerly of Clearwater, Florida passed away December 12, 2018.  She was born on August 12, 1959 in Clearwater to Elmer and Dorothy Maxwell Parish who have preceded her in death.  Becky retired as a dispatcher in Clearwater after a career that spanned 30 years.  She was a loving friend, and sister who was passionate about animals.  Her sister Tina Parish along with her parents preceded Becky in death.  She is survived by her best friend Laurie Barfield of Monroe and Laurie’s children whom Becky considered hers; Jamie Frady, Jim Barfield, and Katie Payne along with their 7 children.  She is also survived by brothers John Parish of Conyers, Mike Parish and Steve Parish both of New Mexico along with a host of other family and close friends.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida at www.grrswf.org.  J.C.
