Carolyn (Tatum) Butler

Mrs. Carolyn Butler, age 53, of Eatonton formerly of Covington passed away May 28, 2018.  She was born in Madison, Georgia on April 6, 1965.  Mrs. Butler loved spending time with her family; she loved people and loved her animals.  She loved being a grandmother and enjoyed fishing.  Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Clive, her step father Paul Clive and her step sister Kristy Carter.  She is survived by her husband Bobby Butler of Eatonton, her father and step mother B.R. and Libby Tatum of Conyers, her daughters Leann Smith (Clint Edwards), Alisha Smith (Quincy Scott) and Erica Mosley (Matt Mosley) all of Covington, her brother and sister-in-law Johnny and Melanie Tatum of Covington, her sisters and brother-in-law Trisha and David Lewis of Washington State and Janel Harper of Covington, her grandchildren Dylan, Anslee, Mackenzie, Jaylin, Trenton, Brooklyn, and Kynlee and her dogs “Buddy” and “Dexter” along with a host of other family and close friends. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Butler will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2 o’clock at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.  J.C.
