Charles Jacob Cartledge

Charles Jacob Cartledge, age 12, of Covington passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018.  He was born July 21, 2006 in Covington to Billy and Angie Smith Cartledge who survive him.  Jacob went to Oak Hill Elementary School and was currently attending Veteran's Middle School where he was a member of the band, learning to play the trombone.  He was a loving young man who had a smile that could light up a room.  Jacob enjoyed making You Tube videos and was always trying to get people to follow him.  He attended Living Way World Church with his aunt and uncle where he was active in the youth group.  Jacob is survived by a loving family and a host of friends, all who loved him dearly.

Funeral services for Jacob will be held at 4 o'clock Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home his uncle Leon Bohanan will officiate.  Interment will follow at Covington City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM prior to the service.
