Clarice Swint Patrick

Mrs. Clarice Patrick of Covington, GA passed away on December 30, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Patrick was 86 years old. Born to Harper and Ann Swint in Jackson, GA, her parents moved to Atlanta where she attended school, met her husband, worked, and raised her family.

After moving to Covington, GA in 1990, Mrs. Patrick became a member of Zion Baptist Church where she served on several committees, was a member of the Jubilee and adult choirs, and volunteered in many capacities.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Patrick; her son, Michael Patrick, and her parents, Harper and Ann Swint.

Survivors include: her children, Renee Hawkins, Rhonda Patrick, Kevin Patrick, and Lauren Ann Patrick; son-in-law Danny Hawkins, daughters-in-law, Marcia Patrick and Libby Patrick; sisters Nancy Bonner and Glenda Gossett; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five nieces.

Following cremation, a graveside service for Mrs. Patrick will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Fairview Rd., Stockbridge, GA at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Reese Sanders of Zion Baptist Church officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Clarice Patrick may be made to Zion Baptist Church, 7037 Hwy. 212 North, Covington, GA 30016, or to Longleaf Hospice, 1132 Floyd Street, Covington, GA 30014.  J.C.
