Denise Lynn (Swords) Henderson

Mrs. Denise Henderson, age 59, of Social Circle, Ga passed away May 11, 2018.  She was born on June 20, 1958 to Gladys and L.D. Swords who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Henderson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.  She adored her grandchildren more than life.  She never met a stranger and had a memory that was unreal.  Mrs. Henderson enjoyed the beach in her spare time and loved pets as if they were her children.  Mrs. Henderson was a member of Cornish Mountain Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Rhonda Castellana and father-in-law, Richard Henderson.  Mrs. Henderson was a devoted wife and survived by her husband of 42 years Freddie Henderson, and her daughter and son-in-law, Stahr and Warren Dimsdale; son, Adam Henderson; grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brittany Dimsdale, Alexis and Adyson Henderson; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Sandra Swords; mother and father-in-law, Ed and Betty Jenkins; nephew, Brent Powell; nieces, Courtney Trost and Christina Franklin, along with a host of other family and friends.  A memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11 AM at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 8111 Brown Bridge Road, Covington, GA 30014 with Reverend Mike Franklin officiating.  The family will receive family and friends at the church for visitation one hour prior to service.  In lieu of flowers the family would ask for donations to be sent to PAWS Atlanta.
