Donna Grace Johnson Machtolff

Mrs. Donna Machtolff, age 68, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018.  She was born December 18, 1949 in Atlanta.  Donna grew up in Covington and graduated from Newton County High School and also graduated from Dekalb Technical College.  She was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Machtolff was preceded in death by her father Floyd Johnson and is survived by her husband John Machtolff of Winston-Salem, her sons John Paul Machtolff (Melissa) of Cary, North Carolina and Aaron David Machtolff of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, her mother Grace Johnson of Covington, her grandchildren Jake and Evan Machtolff of Cary her brother Tony Johnson (Mary Alice) of Covington her niece Misty Mayo (Daniel), her nephew Chris Johnson (Mandy) along with many other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Machtolff will be held at 1 o’clock Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Leah Cunningham officiating.  Interment will follow at Gibson Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM prior to the service.  J.C.
