Edward "Ned" Everette Harris

Mr. Edward “Ned” Everette Harris of Monticello took the evening flight to Heaven November 16, 2017 at the age of 84.  He was born October 17, 1933 in Jacksonville, Florida to Edward Vincent and Florence Harris who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Harris was an avid fisherman, hunter, Korean War Veteran and beautiful friend to all.  He worked for many years with his father at E.V. Harris Printing before owning and operating the business.  Mr. Harris also started Harris Trade Printing in Monticello with his son before retiring.  

Mr. Harris is survived by wife, Jeannette Remley Harris;  children: Sheryl Harris-Weinstein of Kailua-Kona, HI;  Laura Marsh(Dirk) Knoxville, TN;  Michael Harris of St. Petersburg, FL; Allyson Roberts of Roswell, GA;  Sharon Kinman of Lawrenceville, GA.  Grandchildren: Dayle Guinn of Cleveland, TN; Brittany Moore(Landon) of Concord, TN; Laura Lindsey(Jack) of Milledgeville;  Jerrilyn Kamali'i of Hanapepe, HI;  Barrilyn Kamal'i of Hilo, HI, Chase Remley Hall and Avery Leigh Hall both of Lawrenceville along with five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Harris’ ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean in private celebrations.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Abbey Hospice, 215 Azalea Court, Social Circle, GA  30025.  The family has entrusted J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with the arrangements.
