Eloise Lunsford

Mrs. Eloise Parish Lunsford, age 74, a lifelong resident of Covington passed away Monday, February 12, 2018.  She was born in Porterdale on August 26, 1943 to Bill and Irene Mobley Parish who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Lunsford was a longtime member of High Point Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crocheting and cooking and was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  Mrs. Lunsford was retired form Georgia Mobile Imaging where she worked as an X-ray technician and a CAT scan technician.  She was preceded in death by her son Mark R. Lunsford in 2006. 

Mrs. Lunsford is survived by her husband of 54 years Wayne Lunsford, her children Virginia Ann Lunsford of Covington, Todd D. Lunsford and his wife Elsa of Fleming Island, Florida and Cheryl L. Pruitt and her husband Chris of Covington, her grandchildren Luke, Nick, Nicole, Joshua and Nathan along with a host of other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lunsford will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at High Point Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, February 16, 2018.  J.C.
