Frank Farmer

Mr. Frank Farmer, age 71, of Covington passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018.  He was born in Atlanta on May 23, 1947 to Willard James Farmer and Frances Woodson who have preceded him in death.  Raised by his grandparents, Grover and Nettie Lou Woodson, Frank grew up in Atlanta and graduated from O’Keefe High School. He was a retired Deputy Sheriff, retiring from the Greenville County South Carolina Sheriff’s Office.  Frank also owned and operated Farmer Fiberglass for many years.  He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend who loved telling stories, spending time with his family, hunting, and camping but his greatest joy was racing his granddaughter Kali Jordan Smith to breakfast.  A Presbyterian by faith Frank was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.  He is survived by his wife Joyce Farmer of Covington, his daughters, Kym Gibbs (Amanda) of Woodstock and Starr Smith (Celia) of Covington his granddaughter Kali Jordan Smith and a host of other family and close friends.

A Gathering of Friends will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.  J.C.
