Franklin Lamar Rutledge

Mr. Franklin Lamar Rutledge, age 82, of Covington Mill passed away October 3, 2017 at his residence.  He was born August 11, 1935 in Jackson, Georgia to Troy and Lonie Manns Rutledge who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Rutledge is survived by his wife Mary Rutledge, his daughters and sons-in-law; Wanda and Paul Owensby of Monticello, Kay and Jeff Fandel of Pawley’s Island, SC, Linda and Jimmy Johnson of Monticello and Penny and Mike Yates also of Monticello along with his 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.  He is also survived by his brother; Junior Rutledge and his sister; Marie Rutledge both of Covington and many other family and close friends. 

Graveside services for Mr. Rutledge will be held at 11 o’clock Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Covington Mill Cemetery with Reverend Tim Walden officiating.  The family will receive friends at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home from 10:00am until 11:00am prior to the service.  J.C.
