George J. Bohn

George J. Bohn, 76, of Covington, GA., passed away on September 2. 2018.  He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Amelia Bohn, of St. Petersburg, FL.  George is survived by his wife of 49 years, Anne Bohn, as well as his son Robert Bohn and daughter-in-law Diane of Sterling, VA. 

George worked in several positions at the Covington Belk Department Store and also managed Belk stores in Elberton and Monroe, GA.  He was a lifetime stamp collector and had belonged to the American Philatelic Society for over 50 years. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 o’clock Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home with Reverend Jenny Anderson officiating. The family, will gatherer with friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service.
