Hardy "Gene" Cavender Obituary
Mr. Hardy Eugene “Gene” Cavender, age 30, of Covington passed away March 27, 2019. He was born in Atlanta on August 19, 1988. Gene was a hardworking man; a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Cavender. Mr. Cavender is survived by his father Kenneth Cavender of Flovilla, his sons Hardy Eugene Cavender, Jr. and Nathaniel Cavender, his brothers Kenneth Cavender and Brandon Lee Cavender, his sisters Lisa Lester and Kimberly Norris along with a host of other family and close friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Cavender will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Valarie Spriggs officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm until 2pm prior to the service. J.C.
