Howard Atkins

Howard Atkins, age 82, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Atkins; mother, Beatrice Gresham; and a brother, Jerry Frank Atkins.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Bagby Atkins who was formerly of the Covington and Mansfield area; his children, Jillann Taquino (Maurice), Julie Puchot, and Jennifer Hambrice (Mike); a brother, Buddy Atkins; a sister, Marie Jackson; five grandchildren, Marlene Taquino, Jenny Puchot, Katie Puchot, Cory Clutter and Chloe Clutter; and other relatives and friends.

He was an HVAC distributor for many years and was also the Alabama HVAC Insider News Editor.   Mr. Atkins was a pet lover and spending time outside.

Memorial graveside service for Mr. Atkins will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Carmel Church Cemetery, Mansfield.  J.C.
