Mrs. JoAnne Bradshaw, age 65, of Covington passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018. She was born January 16, 1953 in Douglasville, Georgia to James and Lucille Carden who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Bradshaw grew up in Douglasville and attended Douglas County High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Mrs. Bradshaw started her working life working at a cotton mill in Atlanta; she went on to work at General Electric, Stanley-Proto, and side by side with her husband at Bradshaw’s Hobby Shop. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, coloring in coloring books, and loved Christmas. Mrs. Bradshaw was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Joshua’s Place in Jackson, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Chuck Bradshaw, her brother Jimmy Carden, and her sister Mary Sue Bradshaw.
Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Norma Bradshaw of Oxford and Scott and Natalyn Bradshaw of Christiansburg, Virginia her grandchildren Brittany, R.J., Bobby, Mia, Ian, Corey, Natalie, and Hope and her great grandchild Cason her sister Gail McCurry of Alabama, and her brother and sister-in-law Britt and Julie Carden of Grayson. A family friend Tony George along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends also survive her.
