Linda H. (Hutson) Hunt

Mrs. Linda H. Hunt, age 82, a longtime resident of Covington passed away Monday, December 23, 2019.  She was born April 10, 1937 in Monroe, Georgia to Lewis and Louise Hutson who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Hunt was member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church.  She enjoyed word search puzzles, spending time with her family, and picking on her boys.  Along with her parents, Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband Joseph O. Hunt, Jr in 2008.  She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Norman Hunt and his wife Angela of Covington and William and his wife Beth of Monticello, her sister and brother-in-law Lanelle and Paul Hemminger of Newnan, her grandchildren Joseph, Sarah, Lindsey, Chris, Katie, and Jennifer, her great grandchildren Roxanne and Bryce along with numerous other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hunt will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Kenny Dockins and Reverend Todd Heil officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park with Mr. Don Day officiating at graveside.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2019.  The family has selected J.C.
