Dear Rogers family,
Please accept our sincere condolences in your time of loss. Losing a loved one in death is difficult. May the God of Comfort be with your family. 2 Cor 1:3,4. The bible promises that one day death will be no more and we can see our loved ones raised back to life again. John 5:28,29; Rev 21:3,4. May these words be of encouragement to you in the days and weeks ahead.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is a terrible tragedy to suffer. Your loved one lived what many consider to be a long life. However, to God, it was not long enough. God purposed for humans to live forever, so no one would have to experience the grief that death brings (Romans 6:23). God will act soon to put an end to the last enemy, death (1 Corinthians 15:26). When someone you love dies, for some, it's like a piece of you goes with them. For others, it is a relief because they know they suffer no more. However, Jehovah God knows our deepest emotions. He understands that death is an enemy that we can't fight. That's why he promises that death will be swallowed up forever. (Isaiah 25:8). Also the Bible calls death the last enemy that will be brought to nothing (1 Corinthians 15:26). We also are promised a paradise here on earth where there is no more pain or sorrow and God himself will wipe every tear from our eyes. (Revelation 21:3,4). For more BIBLE truth please visit JW.ORG

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mickey. We were sisters-in-law. We got together for lunch when both of our husbands were alive. She was always a joy to be around. My sympathy to her family.
