Mary Ann (Malcom) Price

Mrs. Mary Ann Price, age 88, of Oxford passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018.  She was born July 28, 1930 in Social Circle to Demus and Josie Peters Malcom who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Price grew up in Social Circle and attended Social Circle High School.  She enjoyed painting, woodworking, gardening, and bird watching; of the things she enjoyed nothing made her happier than spending time with her family.  Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband James P. Price.  She is survived by her children Lynn Dial, Susan Rebecca Woodrum (Dan),  Jimmy Price (Joyce), and Billy Price (Nancy) all of Oxford her 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren her siblings Benny Malcom, Gerald Malcom (Catherine), Shirley Pippin (Delmus), and Jane McCart along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Price will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with her grandson Travis Price and Reverend Ronnie Brannen officiating.  Interment will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, 3861 Ebenezer Church Rd, Social Circle, GA 30025.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, August 10, 2018.  The family selected J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home to be in charge of the arrangements.
