Mrs. Maxine Parker, age 80, of Covington passed away peacefully Friday, August 10, 2018 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle with her two sons by her side. She was born July 11, 1938 in Pensacola, Florida to Guy and Frances Sears Wilson who have preceded her in death. She enjoyed life as a homemaker; after her children were grown she started driving a school bus for Newton County and “Loved It”. Maxine loved music, church, family, and dancing “She had the music in her” and she shined as a caregiver. Young people were drawn to her and her to them; Maxine Parker had an awesome sense of humor.
