Michael Haralson

Jesse Michael Haralson “GDiddy Dawg” age 58, of Covington passed away Monday, November 6, 2017.  He was born in Monroe, Georgia on March 7, 1959 and grew up in Social Circle.  Mike was a 1978 graduate of Social Circle High School.  He was known as “Big Mike” during those years and excelled at basketball and baseball.  He was many things to many people; a University of Georgia Bulldog fan, a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.  Mike had an amazing sense of humor and loved everyone, not a cross word has ever been spoken about him.  Mike also cared deeply for his church family and was a charter member of Eastridge Community Church.  He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Haralson and is survived by his wife, Annette Haralson; his mother, Nell Smith of Social Circle; his daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and Jason “Roh”  Rohletter and Adrianne and Brian Aaron all of Covington; his grandchildren; Brian, Nicholas, Ayden, Daniel, Ava and Andrew; his brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Joan Haralson of Gainesville; his sister, Connie Mitchell of Social Circle and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.

Memorial services for Mike will be held at 6 o’clock Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Eastridge Community Church with Pastor Scott Moore officiating.  A reception of friends will follow the service at the church.  J.C.
