Peggy (Bush) Dunn

Mrs. Peggy Bush Dunn, age 80, of Covington passed away Friday, September 14, 2018.  She was born April 19, 1938 in Macon, Georgia to Robert Henry and Mamie Hightower Bush who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Dunn was a lifelong member of The First Baptist Church of Covington and worked in the nursery there for over 20 years.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, working with flowers, and crafts.  Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband James H. Dunn and her 2 granddaughters, Chelsea Nicole Dunn and Amber Nicole Harp Dunn. 

Mrs. Dunn is survived by her children Thomesa and Randy Stephens of Moultrie, GA Bill and Jenny Dunn of Rutledge, Carliss and Tracey Dunn of Conyers, Sid and Michelle Dunn of Covington and Joy and Andy Watson of Covington along with 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren

Funeral services for Mrs. Dunn will be held at 11 o’clock Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Compton officiating.  Interment will follow at Clayton City Cemetery in Clayton, Alabama at 3:00 PM CST on Monday.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  J.C.
