Ralph Edward Martin

Ralph Edward Martin, husband of Joan Cason Martin passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the age of 75.  Mr. Martin was a member of Shiloh united Methodist Church, and a graduate of Newton County High School Class of 1961.  Following graduation he serviced in the United States Navy for 4 ½ years.  He retired from AT&T after 24 years of service.  He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Nina Moon Martin. 

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Joan Cason Martin, his daughter Lue Anne Martin of Brookhaven his grandchildren, Trey Bledsoe of Dacula and Chelsie and Braden Johnson of Atlanta his sister and brother-in-law Hazel and Don Kelly his brother Frederick Martin and a nephew Tod Kelly. 

Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Those desiring may make donations to the Newton County Humane Society, P O Box 2536, Covington, GA 30015.  J.C.
