Renee (Harcrow) Owen

Mrs. Renee Owen, age 68, a lifelong resident of Newton County passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2019.  She was born in Porterdale on October 28, 1950 to Elton and Louise Harcrow Long who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Owen attended Porterdale Elementary and Newton County High School.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Thomas Owen, her sisters Carol Freeman, Bonnie Dean, and Agatha Long, along her brother Lance Huff. 

Mrs. Owen is survived by her daughter Terry Owen of Covington, her sisters and brothers-in-law Brenda and Horace Dean of Covington and Mary and Earl Blake of Conyers along with a host of other family and close friends.   

Graveside services for Mrs. Owen will be held at 4 o’clock Friday, March 15, 2019 at Kelly Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home, 2157 East Street, SE, Covington, GA 30014 is in charge of the arrangements.  A guest book may be signed on-line www.harwellfuneralhome.com.
