Ricky Thomas

Mr. Ricky Thomas, age 67, of Oxford passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019.  He was born on October 16, 1951 in Monroe, GA to Charlie and Leona Blackwell Thomas who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Thomas was a carpenter by trade.  He enjoyed fishing and doing yardwork. 

Mr. Thomas is survived by his step-father Charles Carter, of Oxford, his children Michael Thomas and Sheena, of Oxford, Renee Keerti, of Duluth, Jason Thomas and Kristi of Oxford, and Ricky Lee Thomas and Ginger of Social Circle, 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his siblings Gloria Wade, Randy Thomas, Phil Thomas, Paul Carter, and Randy Carter, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and close friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas will be held at 4 o’clock Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Bell officiating.  Interment will follow at East View Cemetery in Conyers.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, August 24, 2019.  J.C.
