Roger Linville Hall

Mr. Roger Linville Hall, age 52, of Mansfield passed away Monday, June 24, 2019.  He was born in Conyers on January 12, 1967 to Roger and Linda Venters Hall who have preceded him in death.  Roger graduated from Newton County Comprehensive High School and attended West Georgia College.  He was a man of strong faith, a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church, and was a member of the Gideons.  Roger owned and operated Hall’s Trenching for 20 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a UGA football fan. Roger was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend; among the many things he treasured in life the role of “Big Daddy” was one he treasured most. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Christopher Hall.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife Pierrette Hall, his children Andy Hall and Hannah of Conyers, Alex Hall and Kayla of Newborn, Caroline Street and Levi of Madison, and Kenny Ridling and Faith also of Madison.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Aidan, Asher, Zeke, Easton, Etta, Jaxson, Emma, Hunter, and Reed his brother Steve Hall and Pam of Social Circle his sister-in-law Danielle Barbo of Covington along with a host of other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Hall will be held at 11 o’clock Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Butch Lee and Reverend Kenny Ridling officiating.  Interment will follow at the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideons International Processing Center, PO Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251   J.C.
