Roger "Big Roger" Hall

Roger “Big Roger” Hall, age 72, of Covington passed away October 5, 2017.  He was born August 4, 1945 in Seco, Kentucky to Eston and Sadie Katherine Holbrook Hall who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Hall was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.  He was a devoted Christian who was a charter member of Light of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, a Sunday school teacher and faithfully visited the sick and shut in of his church family.  Mr. Hall was as devoted to his family as he was to his Lord; loving his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all his heart.  He was preceded in death by his first wife; Linda Hall and his son; Chris Hall.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife; Sheryl Hall of Covington, his children; Roger and Pierrette Hall of Mansfield, Steven and Pam Hall of Social Circle, Mark and Lauren Chupp of Greensboro and Michael Chupp also of Greensboro, his grandchildren; Zach, Loren, Andy, Alex, Caroline, Levi, Ellie and Emma, and his great grandchildren; Aidan, Asher, Zeke, Aubrey, Easton, Ethan and Jaxson his brothers and sisters-in-law; Mike and Debbie Hall of Mansfield and Darrell and Anita Hall of Conyers, his sisters; Faye Stapleton of Richmond, Indiana Sharion Pease of Centerville, Indiana and Mable Adams of Conyers along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Hall will be held at 3 o’clock Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Light of Calvary Baptist Church, 1370 Eastview Road NE, Conyers, GA 30012 with Pastor Eric Lee and Pastor Terry Brock officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Saturday, October 7, 2017.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Light of Calvary Baptist Church Mission Fund. J.C.
