Ms. Sally Moseley, age 71, of Atlanta passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born in Covington, Georgia to Olin and Sarah Pennington Weaver on January 31, 1947. Sally grew up in the Toco Hills area of Atlanta and spent a great deal of time in Covington. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia and retired as an archivist from the State of Georgia. Sally loved spending time with her friends and family and truly enjoyed attending her grandson’s baseball games. She was an avid reader of historic disasters and murder mysteries. Sally loved travel, history, old rock and roll music, trivia, and working out.
Ms. Moseley was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Katy and Eric Tippin of Hoschton, her grandsons Luke and Jake along with a host of other family and close friends.
Memorial services for Ms. Moseley will be held at 12 o’clock Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Covington City Cemetery. The family will gather with friends from 11:00 Am until 12:00 PM prior to the service. J.C.
