Sarah Walden

Mrs. Sarah Walden, age 69, of Covington passed away Friday, December 7, 2018.  She was born February 5, 1949 in Hapeville, GA to Lester and Mary Fitzgerald Titshaw who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Walden was a very strong independent woman who was outspoken and stern.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Donald Smith. 

Mrs. Walden is survived by her husband Johnny Walden, her children Frankie Parker (Leonora), Mary “Lynn” Shannon, William David Lindsey (Melissa), Ricky Walden (Gayle), Dennis Michael Walden (Tracy), her grandchildren Frankie and Jessica Parker, Brandi Nicole Smith, Patrick Brownlee Jr., Christopher Matthew Brownlee, Sarah Marie Shannon, Charity Joiner, Brandon Walden, Leyland Walden, and Garrett Walden.  She is also survived by many great grandchildren, along with her brothers Jack Smith (Joy), and Jimmy Titshaw and many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Walden will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Walden officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
