Wallace Lawson Davis

Mr. Wallace Lawson Davis, age 91, of Hull, Georgia passed away Friday, April 5, 2019.  He was born November 3, 1927 in Porterdale to Joe and Ruby Bailey Davis.  Mr. Davis survived in the National Guard and was a talented guitarist.  He grew up in Newton County and moved to the Athens area.  Mr. Davis was of the Baptist faith and a member of Hull Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Davis and his sister Ruby Rae Davis Sharp.  Mr. Davis is survived by his son Stan Davis of Walnut Grove, his daughter Jan Drummond of Athens, and his brother Kenneth Davis of Covington along with 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 o’clock Monday, April 8, 2019 at Porterdale Baptist Cemetery.  J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home, 2157 East Street, SE, Covington, GA 30014 is in charge of the arrangements.  A guest book may be signed on-line www.harwellfuneralhome.com.
