Alma Ziegler

Mrs. Alma Ziegler, age 90, of Conyers formerly of West Babylon, New York passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023.  She was born May 31, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York to Frank and Francis Centauro Mannarino who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Ziegler enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, puzzles, and being with her family especially her grandchildren.  She was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Conyers.  Along with her parents Mrs. Ziegler was preceded in death by her husband Richard Charles Ziegler and six siblings. 

Mrs. Ziegler is survived by her children Deborah DeVito of West Islip, NY, Richard Ziegler (Rachelle) of Conyers, and John Ziegler (Merina) also of Conyers; her 7 grandchildren; her 11 great grandchildren; her brother Robert Mannarino of West Islip, NY; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ziegler will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Deacon Fred Johns officiating.  Interment will be held at 1 o’clock Tuesday at Georgia Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 2617 Vinson Hwy, Milledgeville, GA 31061. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
