Obituary
Ms. Angela Rae Gilmer, age 65 of Covington, passed away July 26, 2023. She was born on November 27, 1957 to Homer and Ruby Rae Jones Sharp, who have preceded her in death. Angela was a loving mother and grandmother. Angela had a long and highly successful career as a probation officer in Covington for 30+ years. She was a graduate of North Georgia College and the first woman in her family to graduate college. She loved playing golf, tennis, shopping and giving gifts to others. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Covington.
She is survived by her children Jessica Robinson (Jimmy) of Buckhead, GA and Wil Gilmer of Covington; grandchildren Cade and Catherine Robinson; her brother Frank Sharp (Linda) along with other family members and close friends.
Private services will be held by her family at a later date.
