Ann H. (Head) Smith

Mrs. Ann H. Smith, age 88, a longtime resident of Porterdale passed away Friday, May 20, 2022.  She was born April 21, 1934 in Loganville to Lewis and Anna Broach Head who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Head worked for Bibb Manufacturing in Porterdale for over 40 years.  She enjoyed gardening and loved watching Fox News.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Smith; her son Timmy Smith; and Chris Johnston who she considered to be her grandson. 

Mrs. Smith is survived by her family that she loved dearly Jessie and Tiffany Johnston, Janice Womac, Ryan and Jillian Johnston, Jesany Johnston, Jalie Johnston, Sophia Johnston, Jackson Johnston, Greg and Kelli Martin, several nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

A gathering of friends will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, May 23, 2022 at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.
