Mrs. Ann Wiedmeyer, age 89, of Oxford formerly of Sun City Center, Florida passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020. She was born June 20, 1931 in Jamestown, Rhode Island to Joseph S. and Mary Wallace Serpa who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Wiedmeyer was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a “hugger” as described by her family who enjoyed many things in life however, her time spent with her family is what she cherished. She enjoyed crocheting, going on cruises, and loved people. Mrs. Wiedmeyer worked in the printing industry for many years before retiring to Florida in 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl P. Wiedmeyer, her step son Steven Wiedmeyer, and her sister Alice Osborne.
Mrs. Wiedmeyer is survived by her children Unice Stevens (T.C.) of Oxford, Donna Leverette (Carter) of Conyers, Phillip Wiedmeyer (Tracy) of Birmingham, Alabama, and Melissa Hall of Memphis, Tennessee. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, her siblings May Ratigan of New York, Eddie Serpa of Andalusia, Alabama, and Frannie Lopes (Al) of Jamestown, Rhode Island along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
