Azel Bailey Obituary

Mr. Azel Bailey, age 63, of Conyers passed away October 18, 2021. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Azel and Helen Chambers Bailey who have preceded him in death. Mr. Bailey was a painter, professional handy man, and all-around tinkerer. He enjoyed fishing, sports, shooting pool, and was an Atlanta Braves fan, Atlanta Falcons fan, and a West Virginia Mountaineer fan. Along with his parents Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his sister Amy Payton. He is survived by his wife Jannet Bailey; his children Lee Bailey of Ft. Myers. Florida, and his daughter Tanya Mason (Rocky) of Covington; his grandchildren Amberly, Danielle, Dalton, and Sam; his great granddaughter Ryliegh; his brother Alvin Bailey; his sister Shannon Bailey; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and close friends.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Bailey will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at his daughter Tanya’s home between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home, TE Davis Funeral Services, 2157 East Street, SE, Covington, GA 30014.
