Barbara E. Brown

Mrs. Barbara E. Brown, age 71, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023.  She was born December 6, 1951 in Porterdale, Georgia to Doris E. Stapp Mitchell who has preceded her in death.  Always the caretaker, Mrs. Brown was a nurse for Bibb Manufacturing, RN at Newton Medical Center and served as an in-home healthcare nurse.  She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.  She loved reading, cross-stitching, crafting and most of all, spending time with her family. 

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband Michael Brown; her children Sharon Presnell, Lisa Ferrell, Shane Brown and Chad Brown; grandchildren Shay Brown, Crista Jones, Kendilyn McElhannon, Kayde Presnell, Trenton Presnell, Nicholas Presnell, Ryan Olivia Brown, Ethan Brown, Mason Brown, Nevaeh Robinson, Brianna Robinson, Cameron Brown, Judah Brown and Joshua Brown; along with many great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and close friends.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Brown will be held at 3 o’clock Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Stanley officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday prior to the service.  J.C.
