Barry Maddox

Mr. Barry Maddox, age 62, of Monticello passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024.  He was born January 28, 1962 in Covington and grew up enjoying life on Jackson Lake.  Barry was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends.  He worked in his younger years as a truck driver and was a diesel mechanic.  In the words of his mother Barry never met a stranger and had a love for dogs, he had a dog in his life since he was three years old.  Barry was preceded in death by his father Sammy Maddox and is survived by his mother Miranda Parker Ancell; along with numerous other family members and many close friends.

Graveside services for Mr. Maddox will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Stewart Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Andy Parker officiating.
