Mrs. Betty Daniel, age 88, of Monticello passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020. She was born February 26, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Daniel was a wonderful homemaker, she loved to travel, and loved her church family. She worked for and retired from Eastern Airlines. Mrs. Daniel was an active member of New Rocky Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Jim Daniel of Monticello, her children Jeanette Montgomery (John) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Randy Dyer of Stockbridge, Dennis James Daniel (Lisa) of Pensacola, Florida, and Rodney Scott Daniel (Terrie) of Sparta, Tennessee. Mrs. Daniel is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous other family members and close friends.
