Mrs. Betty Ann Biggers Smith, age 95, a lifelong resident of Covington passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024. She was born February 15, 1929 in Covington to Iris Aubrey and Rose Hooten Alford who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Betty Ann was a 1946 graduate of Covington High School and worked for the State of Georgia with the Department of Correction for 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, gambling, traveling, and her passion was sports a great fan of the Atlanta Falcons, the Atlanta Braves, and the Georgia Bulldogs. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Hill Biggers.

Mrs. Betty Ann is survived by her husband Tom Smith; her son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Wendy Biggers of Covington; her grandchildren Hill Biggers (Bridgett) of Madison, and Dylan Biggers of Biloxi, Mississippi; her great grandchildren Zander and Ava; along with a host of other family members and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the family home on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. If you would like to send flowers, please send something that can be planted in her memory.
