Bettye (Lee) Shivers

Mrs. Bettye Shivers, age 91, of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  She was born January 26, 1930 in Thomaston, Georgia to Eugene and Dezzie Lee who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Shivers grew up in Thomaston and was an avid reader and enjoyed watching sports on TV.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert P. Shivers and her daughter Pamela Jan Shivers.  Mrs. Shivers is survived by her son Chip Shivers (Sue Ann Williamson) of Sebastian, Florida; her grandchildren Jennifer Fernandez (Steven) of Alpharetta, Devin Shivers (Amanda) of Covington, and Colton Shivers also of Covington; her great grandchildren McKinlee, Ridge, and Remi; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.  The family plans to hold a service at a later date.  J.C.
