Brandy Lynn (Lalonde) Gomes

Brandy Lynn (Lalonde)Gomes of Rutledge, passed away August 6, 2020. She was born in Thibodaux, LA, on February 28, 1976. Brandy was a loving wife, mother & grandmother who was always willing and wanting to help others. Her faith was strong and her loyalty to friends and family were fierce. She left us far too soon. She is survived by her husband, Shane Gomes; mother Linda Ramey; daughters, Destiny Henry (Sam Wood); Kirsten Henry; sisters, Lisa Shugart, (Keith Shugart; Melinda Durio (Tony); Brenda Tucker (Shannon Tucker); Donna Besson and granddaughter, Delilah Jane Rhoades. Brandy is preceded in death by her father Johnny Lalonde and brother, Jackie Bergeron, Jr.

Funeral services for Brandy will be held at 2 o’clock Monday, August 10, 2020 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Harrell officiating.  Interment will follow at Madison Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Monday prior to the service.  J.C. Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed.  There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, the use of mask is encouraged, and most importantly if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID 19 you will not be allowed to attend either service.  Please be respectful of the family during this difficult time and follow the requirements of the CDC.
