Mrs. Brenda “Bee” Stubbs, age 72, of Covington passed away Monday, March 30, 2020. She was born April 25, 1947 in Cordele, Georgia to Ferrell and Luetrell Burnette who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Stubbs grew up in Cordele and Seville Georgia and attended Pitts High School, and was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern College. She was a school teacher and taught in several school systems retiring from Bryan County. Mrs. Stubbs was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Covington. She was involved with the Ladies Bible Study, the Widows Ministry, and was a substitute teacher at the First Baptist Academy. Mrs. Stubbs was preceded in death by her husband Roger Stubbs, and her brother Ray Burnette. She is survived by her daughter Kristy Stubbs-Henderson (Brad) of Covington, her grandchildren Audrey and Ella, her sister-in-law Rose Burnette of Warner Robins, her niece and nephews Kelley Laidler, Anthony Burnette, and Daniel Burnette along with many other family members and close friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the First Baptist Church of Covington. The family has selected J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home to assist them with the arrangements. A guest book may be signed on-line at our website.www.harwellfuneralhome.com.
