Calvin Keener “CK” Dickerson, age 101,passed away May 19, 2026, he was born September 16, 1924, lived a long and honorable life marked by service, hard work, and devotion to family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sons, Larry Dickerson and James Hill. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Herndon and Gayle Pritchard; his grandchildren, Heather Pritchard, Tiara Moore and her husband Micheal, Michael Daniel, and Jim Hill; his great-grandchildren, Macie, Raelynn, and Molly; his nephew, Freeman Dickerson; and numerous other family members and many close friends who will cherish his memory.

CK was a proud United States Army veteran who served during World War II, a chapter of his life that reflected his courage, discipline, and sense of duty. After his military service, he worked as a truck driver, a career that suited his strong work ethic and dependable nature. He was known for his steady presence, his willingness to help others, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life.

Those who knew CK will remember his love of hunting and fishing, pastimes that brought him peace and enjoyment over the years. He appreciated the outdoors and found happiness in simple moments spent in nature. His life was one of perseverance and resilience, and he faced each season with determination and grace.

CK will be remembered as a man who valued family, honored his responsibilities, and left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the lives of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends, who will continue to hold his memory close. Though he will be deeply missed, the example he set through his service, work, and love will remain a source of comfort and pride for those who loved him.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 22,2026 at East View Cemetery in Conyers.
