Carol Boss Bozett

Ms. Carol Boss Bozett, age 75, of Oxford, formally of Covington Mills, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023. Carol was born on December 20, 1947 to Charlie and Louise Boss, who have both preceded her in death. Carol was the Frontend Manager of Big Star Foods for many years, she also worked at Belltronics and was the Quality Control Inspector at SGD. No matter the place of business Carol was very proud of her work. She enjoyed reading, doing word puzzles, a good nap, arts and crafts. Carol was an avid sports fan, she enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and the University of Georgia Bulldog football team.

Carol is survived by her son Jason Scott Boss; her brother Danny Boss (Linda), her cousin Elaine Thompson, who was more like her sister; along with several other cousins and a host of family and friends. A memorial service for Ms. Carol Boss Bozett will take place on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 7PM in the Chapel of J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5 PM to 7 PM. J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
