Mrs. Carol Dearing, age 61, of Oxford passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021. She was born January 4, 1960 in Tampa, Florida to Merle and Nellie Barrow who have preceded her in death. Carol grew up in Walnut Grove and was a 1978 graduate of Loganville High School. She was a loving caring wife, mother, sister, and friend. Carol was Baptist by faith and attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church and most recently Loganville Baptist Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and was a great cook. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters; Maria Barrow, and Jessica Culverhouse.
Mrs. Dearing is survived by her husband Randy Dearing, her children; Courtni and Tre` both of Oxford, her sisters and brothers-in-law; Chere and Duane Nelson of Covington, and Melody and Tim Lee of Walnut Grove along with numerous other family members and close friends.
A memorial service for Mrs. Dearing will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Covington at 5:00pm. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday prior to the service from 4:00pm until 5:00pm. J.C.
