Obituary
Charlene Mullin, age 67, of Covington passed away Thursday. April 20, 2023. She was born in Atlanta on February 10, 1956 to Charles and Ethel Sorrells who have preceded her in death. Charlene grew up in Decatur and was a graduate of Columbia High School. She was a waitress at Waffle House for many years, she loved babysitting her grandchildren, and keeping up with everyone of Facebook. Along with her parents Mrs. Mullin was preceded in death by her daughter Amanda Dial. She is survived by her son Sammy Button of Covington; her daughter Tamra Stowe (Matt) of Mansfield; her grandchildren Madison, Sambo, Blake, Presley, and Sophia; her brother Bo Sorrells (Louise) of Athens; along with numerous other family members and close friends. The family will hold private services. J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
