Chase Weldon

Chase Weldon, 28, of Covington, passed away on March 25, 2025. Born in Conyers on March 3, 1997, he grew up in Newton County and enjoyed cars, tattoos, and dirt bikes. He worked as a plumber for Plumbing Tricks.

Chase is survived by his wife and soulmate Cortney Weldon, his children Blaze and Julez, parents Melinda Hawkins (Benjamin) and Sean Weldon (Melanie), siblings Brandon Archer, Jake Weldon, Brooke Walden, Carson Weldon, and Ben McCallie, grandmothers Big Mama and Granny Margie, and many other relatives and friends.

His funeral will be at 2 o'clock on Monday, March 31, 2025 at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Adams officiating.  Interment will follow at New Covington Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 2 PM on Monday prior to the service.  J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
