Cheri (McGill) Rogers

Cheri Lynn Rogers (McGill), 76, Conyers, GA, passed away on January 22, 2018.

Born on October 28, 1941 in Ottawa, IL.  Cheri spent almost her entire adult life in Georgia. She worked as a licensed hair dresser for many years (practicing on her daughters with all the latest trends) before becoming a telephone operator where she worked until she retired in 2000.  She loved cruises & to travel with friends whenever she could.  One of her greatest loves in life was the game of BINGO, which she did regularly, especially over the past few years.

Cheri was preceded in death by her parents James & Marguerite McGill of Ottawa, IL.  She is survived by her children: Erin Goslin Hall of Norcross, Julie Goslin Bowling (Mark) of Flowery Branch, Pete Goslin of Stone Mountain; Grandchildren: Michelle Ivey (Brian) of Covington, Jennifer Morgan of Gainesville, GM1 Jeremy Morgan (Abby) of San Diego, CA; Great Grandchildren: Kimberley League of Covington & PFC Danny League III of El Paso, TX; Siblings: Jib McGill of Oceanside, CA, Michael McGill of Ottawa, IL and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

No services will be held at this time as the family will have a small celebration of life service later.
