Cindy (Corley) Schell

Cindy Schell, age 73, of Covington passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024.  She was born March 17, 1951 in Atlanta to Herbert and Ruth Corley who have preceded her in death.  Ms. Schell grew up in Starrsville and was a 1969 graduate of Newton County High School.  She enjoyed playing cards, playing the piano, crocheting and crafts, and was an avid reader.  Along with her parents Ms. Schell was preceded in death by her grandchildren Richie Steele, and Savannah Steele; her great grandson Preston Nelson; her sister Faye Berry; and her brother Bob Corley.  She is survived by her sons Marc Schell (Jennifer) of Covington, Jack Schell (Dawn) of Monticello, Jeff Schell (Belinda) of Monticello and Bob Schell of Douglasville; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her sister Kathryn Davis of Covington; her brother Bill Corley (Robin) of Covington; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends. A memorial service for Ms. Schell will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Starrsville Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Starrsville Church, 2786 Dixie Road, Covington, GA 30014.
